WhiteDogo Entertainment is an independent indie studio creating sci-fi games. NGC-404 is their flagship title — a space RPG/strategy game where players command a fleet, colonize planets, trade goods, and fight real-time battles in an isolated sector of the galaxy. The game is currently in alpha.

Challenge

The studio needed a website that captures the futuristic atmosphere of the game and converts visitors into Steam wishlists. Key priorities were community building (Discord, newsletter), media showcase, a devblog, and a consistent space aesthetic across all devices. The studio owner also insisted on WCAG compliance despite it not being required — so we ensured an elevated level of accessibility.

Solution

We designed a Next.js website with a dark theme, neon cyan and amber accents, and custom space-themed fonts (Orbitron, Rajdhani). We integrated a Steam wishlist, newsletter, media gallery, devblog, and Discord and Instagram community links.

Results
